Odd device found in service tunnels

Maintenance crews while doing work in the bunker service tunnels under the Tempelhof theatre came across an unusual device.

No one appears to be able to answer how the item came to be in the tunnels or where it came from. The item is believed to be ancient, but as of yet we have no idea what it's purpose was.  It is speculated that the item may be of religious significance due to the glyphs around it.

Rumours have been around for a long time that the former government was interested in occult and religious artefacts and some speculate that they may have brought the item here for safekeeping prior to an allied invasion of Berlin.

  1. Clyde Barrow here,

Miss, about a month ago I was chasing a rather large and cagey rat down in the tunnels. That is the first time I came across this damned contraption.

I have asked around since and nobody is talking. I can't help but think there is something more going on here. Something sinister. You should see some of the looks I get when I mention it down at the Unsink.

While I appreciate your tenacity as a reporter, I just gotta warn you. It's not safe in them tunnels.

    Clyde

p.s. looking forward to performing with you, Misty and all the Tempelhof dancers this week. Take care of your lovely self.
